under the bed
on the bookshelf
in the attic
hidden treasure
it may amaze you
under a pseudonym
on my mind
inside the heart
hidden treasure
it may surprise you
under white clouds
on a friday
in the spring
hidden treasure
It's May. Surrounds you.

year end
Christmas gone. again
and the New Year begins to shoot its piercing rays
through fog and smog and yesterday.
No more unwrapped gifts
and it's much too soon to guess or ask for next year
though soon enough to give and be.
The snow white cover,
winter's gentle blanket, tucks away the past,
becomes the new and better day.

So Now It's Spring
Fall was in a hurry,
and Winter rushed right by
so now it's Spring, but swiftly so
for Summer's nearly nigh.
hurry! see the Blossoms
quick! catch the Morning Dew
the little Lambs born yesterday
will soon be Ram and Ewe.
hold fast to fleeting Innocence
and Leaves of changing green.
wisely prune the Princess Plant
and train the sapling Queen.

thanks giving
It's thank, thank, thankful day,
with the people you love
. and a pumpkin pie.
oh my!
It's thank, thank, thankful day,
with laughter and love
. and a pecan pie
oh my!
It'd thank, thank, thankful day,
with prayers full of love
. and a cheesecake pie
oh my!
and so much more than turkey
with the people you love
. and a pumpkin pie.
oh my!
It's thank, thank, thankful day,
with laughter and love

oh my!
It'd thank, thank, thankful day,

Real Autumn
Margaret who was grieving
Over autumn trees unleaving
This is your season, this is mine.
Winter follows after
Autumn's lingering laughter
And no, I go not softly to the night.
Though roads diverge I yet will go
On icy trail, through paths of snow.
Look up! I dance with Northern lights.
Over autumn trees unleaving
This is your season, this is mine.
Winter follows after
Autumn's lingering laughter
And no, I go not softly to the night.
Though roads diverge I yet will go
On icy trail, through paths of snow.
Look up! I dance with Northern lights.
